Verona from the river
The city seen from the river has its own charm.
Some architectural solutions were dictated by the desire to satisfy the sight of those who travelled along the river Adige to or across Verona. The tour on a dinghy does not present any difficulties, you can go down the river without paddling, but rowing makes fun.
Starting from the dam in Chievo, North of Verona, you go downstream and experience the thrill of rafting, passing under 12 bridges to enjoy the natural and artistic beauty of Verona from a different point of view.
For this water excursion, you need sportswear. Only those sitting in front, and only under the ancient Roman bridge at the bend of the river will get a splash of fresh water, so as to better impress on the memory this fantastic place.
There will be two stops, one at the majestic Scaliger bridge, and the other one at the old customs house, where the canoe club is now located. Once reached the grove South of Verona, a minibus will take you back to your starting point or to the city center, where it fetched you from before.
This tour takes two hours.
Everybody will receive a life jacket.
